The National Alliance of Attorneys for Alzheimer’s Planning
Jim is proud to announce that he is a founding member of the recently formed National Alliance of Attorneys for Alzheimer’s Planning (N3AP). The organization held its inaugural 2019 Winter Conference on February 1 and 2, at the Disney Yacht Club in Orlando, FL. Founder, Julieanne E. Steinbacher, presented, along with nationally recognized authorities on issues related to Alzheimer’s planning. The conference was packed with programming on the growing epidemic of Alzheimer’s and dementia. Alzheimer’s is an epidemic with no end in sight and N3AP hopes to bring awareness to the subject with their years of research, experience and exploration into the issue.
The event drew quite the crowd of attorneys and professionals from across the United States who are its founding members. These attorneys have shown a true commitment to bringing awareness to Alzheimer’s and other dementia related illnesses, and to keeping the legal community apprised of the latest developments with the disease. N3AP is the first organization of its kind and aims to be a resource for elder care planning attorneys and the general public.
Inspired by N3AP, Jim has created a free resource to provide much needed information to those diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. Entitled “A Guide to Alzheimer’s Care”, this resource can be found on this web site. The guide covers care options, disease stages, diagnosis, caregivers and legal ramifications.
